TouchAmerica names Griffith-Zill director of business development
Family-owned wellness equipment and furniture manufacturer TouchAmerica has named Hart Griffith-Zill as director of business development.
Having grown up surrounded by the spa and massage industries, Griffith-Zill brings a creative approach, as well as hands-on experience as a massage therapist, the company said. He will be responsible for distributor and key partner relationships, custom product development and online sales strategy.
“I’m excited to take on this expanded role for TouchAmerica,” said Griffith-Zill. “My vision is to create functional, cost-effective equipment that adds an artistic element of beauty — in and out of the spa treatment room. Of primary focus is the development of custom products for key partners, sourcing sustainable materials like bamboo, rubber wood, hemp, recycled materials, and water-based finishes, as well as utilising new technologies to improve design and functionality.”
Griffith-Zill is the son of TouchAmerica founders Robin Zill and Stewart Griffith, and is eager to forward the work started by his parents, the company said.
For the past eight years, Griffith-Zill has had a private massage therapy practice. He recently joined the company in a sales and customer service capacity — also focusing on special projects such as website and product development.
“We are excited to have Hart taking the lead in moving our company forward with his creativity and enthusiasm,” said Stewart Griffith, TouchAmerica’s president. “Being the son of Robin Zill — one of the pioneers of the American spa movement — he has deep roots in wellness. His experience as a massage therapist, along with a rich understanding of how our products support the growing spa industry, give him a unique perspective that will make a difference for our company.”
