Terme Catez sees Q3 profits drop
Terme Catež, the Slovenian spa operator, has seen its net profit drop by nearly a half in the first three quarters of the year.
The company saw profit drop from 4.7m euro (£3.9m) in 2009 to 2.5m euro (£2.1m) this year.
Operating profit was 34.2m euro (£28.9m), 2.5m euro less than last year.
Terme Catež expects to finish the year with 53m euro of revenue and net profit of 4m euro.
The firm announced in November that it had seen a 13 per cent increase in overnight stays, with 51,395 in registered in October. The number of overnight stays in hotels increased by 20.4 per cent and the campsite saw an increase of 6 per cent.
Terme Catež has sites at Catež, Mokrice and Koper, boasting six hotels with 1,500 beds and campsites and a camping village.
