Star Trac embedded in Europe

Star Trac’s show site in the Czech Republic has spun off into a fully-fledged health club thanks to its popularity among local businesses.
Designed primarily to showcase Star Trac equipment to prospective buyers, local businesses were also able to use the original showroom for free – an offer which generated high demand.
As a result, Star Fitness – Star Trac’s local distributor – opened the Star Trac Health Club in Brno, the country’s second largest city, on 1 September.
Facilities at the new 1,500sq m (16,146sq ft) club include a fitness suite, two studios including one for Spinning, a relaxation area with steam room, sauna and spa pool, and a crèche.
The fitness suite offers the full range of Star Trac’s E series cardiovascular line, complete with the latest embedded screens, plus Instinct resistance equipment and Human Sport cable machines. Members also have access to the original Star Trac showroom – predominantly equipped with P Series cardio and Impact strength line – as part of the membership.
Located on a business park, with the capacity for 6,000 workers, the club is targeted at higher-end corporate clients.
“The site is currently free from competition and allows us to expand into new markets,” said Pavel Suchy, director of Star Fitness.
