South Hams recreation ground work underway

South Hams District Council (SHDC) has commenced work on a series of improvements at Kingsbridge Recreation Ground in Devon.
The scheme forms part of the council's Public Space Improvement programme, which is set to see more than 80 projects undertaken across the district. Kingsbridge Recreation Ground's tennis courts will be rebuilt and the play spaces are to be refurbished as part of the improvements, along with upgraded access.
A second phase of work will help improve drainage around the pond.
