Smethwick Swimming Centre gym revamp

The fitness suite at Smethwick Swimming Centre in the West Midlands has received an upgrade.
The centre, operated by Sandwell Leisure Trust, has seen its upper and lower gyms (split into separate CV and weights areas) refurbished and a new stretching area and floor work room installed.
Trixter mountain bikes have been installed and improved cardio equipment introduced.
Fitness coordinator Kevin Daley said: “We have also added new sessions of step, box-a-cise and Bollywood aerobics and we have extra fitness yoga and bums, legs and tums classes on the timetable.”
