Simmonds to step down as part of BISL restructure
Brigid Simmonds will step down from her position as chief executive of Business in Sport and Leisure (BISL) later this month.
A challenging business climate forced BISL to review its business plan earlier this year and as a result, Simmonds will leave her position after 18 years of service on 31 July.
Current chair Neil Goulden will also step down on the same day following a six-year stint.
David Teasdale, who produced the business review for the organisation, will take over the reigns as BISL’s new chair on 1 August.
