Second year of Oxford play improvements
Oxford City Council (OCC) has announced that it will be holding consultation events this month as part of the second year of play area revamps across the city.
The council is investing £2.5m in upgrading a range of facilities across the city, with 30 projects already completed and a further 16 due to be carried out this year. A consultation event for the proposed Falcon Close scheme will take place at the play area on 21 May and the Girdlestone Grass event will be held on 22 May at Girdlestone Road Launderette.
The third consultation - for the Pegasus Road play area - is due to be held at The Glow Hall, Blackbird Leys Community Centre on 24 May. An OCC spokesperson said: "Each of these consultations will be informal events where young people and parents can advise on how they would like to see the areas refurbished."
