Scottish Rugby chief leaves organisation
Scottish Rugby has announced that chief executive Gordon McKie has stepped down from the position with immediate effect - nearly six years after joining the organisation.
Senior non-executive director Jock Millican has been named as interim chief executive while the national governing body carries out its search for McKie's replacement. Scottish Rugby chair Allan Monro said; "Gordon has demonstrated a willingness and an ability to support the board in the implementation of tough decisions that required to be made in the best interests of the game.
"Unlike 2005, when Scottish Rugby was close to insolvency, he leaves behind a solid platform and a stable financial base with significantly reduced debt."
