Restaurant Group confident for 2005

In a trading update, The Restaurant Group has reported that full year like for like sales were up 5 per cent and predicted “highly satisfactory” results for the year to 31 December.
Although high street trading was quieter than the previous festive season, the company’s leisure parks and concessions businesses traded well during the period.
Executive chair Alan Jackson said the company was confident of further progress in 2005 and aims to open 20 to 30 new restaurants this year.
