Rank reports quarterly sales increase
Rank Group, operator of the Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca Bingo brands, has posted a 7 per cent increase in like-for-like revenue in the 14 weeks to 3 October.
The group has seen strong performances across all of its divisions since its half-year results, with Rank Interactive seeing revenue go up by more than a quarter for the period. Both Grosvenor Casino and the Mecca Bingo have seen a growth in customer spend per visit, when compared with the same period in 2009.
A Rank Group spokesperson said: "The board is encouraged by the sustained performance improvements achieved by each of Rank's businesses during the period and expects full year performance to be around the top end of analysts' forecasts."
