Physical Company wins GLL contract
By Lauren Heath-Jones
GLL has announced a new partnership with Physical Company, that will see the fitness equipment provider supply studio equipment to all 200 GLL sites.
Physical Company will supply a diverse range of equipment, including pieces for mind body, yoga, pilates and studio equipment, as well as mats, bands and balls, from 60 product lines. Wendy Edwards, GLL National Fitness Classes manager, says: "Physical Company showed a very clear understanding of the industry and an ability and readiness to provide equipment for the whole range of classes we offer." The company has also created a bespoke digital catalogue for GLL, that is designed to ensure uniformity across all GLL sites, and make it easier for managers to order new equipment. "At GLL each manager has their own budget and autonomy but within that we ask that they retain a certain look and feel. The digital catalogue ensures our managers can buy according to their site’s needs while remaining within the pre-approved remit. It’s a really good system to have in place," says Edwards. John Halls, MD of Physical Company, says: "The digital catalogue enables us to fulfil orders quickly and keep a close eye on stock levels of GLL’s preferred products. The pre-selected range also gives GLL head office peace of mind as they know all site managers will be selecting pre-approved lines to fulfil their requirements." In addition Physical Company is working closely with GLL to fulfil unusual product orders, including glow sticks, face paints and fun accessories for timetabled ‘party’ classes and charity fitness events. Edwards adds: "Their adaptability and ‘go to’ attitude is a joy to see, we had a sense that Physical Company would deliver over and above what we might expect and I’m delighted to see that we were right."Company Details
