Perth leisure centre to be auctioned off
A leisure centre in Perth, Scotland, which closed two years ago is set to be auctioned off.
The Healthworks complex at Pitheavlis shut in 2008 after its operator Norwich Union (now called Aviva) declared it no longer financially viable, and now The Courier newspaper is reporting that Edinburgh firm SVA Property Auctions are to sell it off.
There is no guide price on the complex, which boasted a 25m swimming pool, squash courts, an indoor sports hall, studio fitness rooms and therapy rooms when in opened in the early 1980s.
The auction will take place on 23 November.
