The Art Gallery of Ontario has appointed Tony Gagliano as its new president of the board of trustees.
Gagliano will take over the role on 1 June and will replace Charlie Baillie, who held the post since 2002.
Gagliano is co-founder of Luminato, Toronto’s festival of arts and creativity. A member of the AGO Board of Trustees since 2003, he has served as a vice president of the Gallery since 2005, and has been a member of the campaign, executive and nominating committees.
