New outdoor gym for South Shields school

South Tyneside Council (STC) has announced the opening of a new outdoor fitness facility at St Oswald's RC Primary School in South Shields.
Tom Pigott, mayor of South Tyneside, said: "The drive to encourage our youngsters to lead healthier lifestyles and promote physical activity means that fun facilities such as this are more important than ever. "This is a wonderful feature for the school and one it can be really proud of. I'm sure it will prove to be a massive hit with the children."
