New data service enables clubs to compare performance

Key players in the health and fitness industry will soon be able to obtain current, comparative data to allow them to monitor their club’s performance against national and local competitors.
The move has come from an industry steering group led by the De Vere Group – which operates Green’s Health & Fitness Clubs and Village Hotels & Leisure Clubs.
So far, Cannons, David Lloyd, Esporta, Fitness First, Holmes Place and Living Well have joined the initiative. Accountants and management consultants Deloitte has been chosen to administer the benchmarking service – which is expected to be available in September.
