NR Health Clubs reveals plans for a new flagship with Pilates and recovery
New Revolution Health Clubs has announced its largest club to date, which will also include reformer Pilates and recovery facilities – a first for the independent, low-cost brand.
The chain currently has eight sites across the UK in Attleborough, Caister, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Thetford, Watton, Wymondham and Dereham. Opening in July, the new site will replace the current Dereham club.
Taking over a former Wilco unit, it will span 24,000 square feet and become the chain’s flagship.
Dereham will be an accredited Hammer Strength training facility and will also include Life Fitness cardio equipment, a large class studio space offering more than 40 classes a week, including Les Mills content and indoor cycling.
Tapping into all the current trends, the site will debut some new concepts. NR-Rox will be a Hyrox-inspired training area, with high intensity programming.
NR- Box, is a boxing experience with multiple bags and a ring. There are plans to collaborate with a local boxing club and create a combat and boxing community .
The NR- Reformer studio will offer reformer Pilates, as well as yoga and stretch classes.
The sauna and ice bath has been branded as NR-Recovery and NR-Coffee is a new community experience, offering high quality produce and coffee and social space.
“These changes are a clear path forward for our business,” says founder, Nathan Gostling, “offering amazing value for money and a one stop shop for all health, fitness and social. This move reflects the ambition of NR Health Clubs – hungry for success and proud of all the facilities we operate. Dereham is the HQ for NR Health Clubs, as well as my town of birth so it’s a great homecoming.”
The family-run business prides itself on high standards of cleanliness and the personal touch. New members are offered an induction and a 12-week transformation plan from £25.99 a month.
At the new club, the membership rate will be the same, but a new NR Rox Premium membership will be offered, including a reformer option.
Going forward, the brand plans to keep growing across Norfolk and has refurbishments planned for the current clubs.
