Multipower sponsorship for Francesca Halsall

European and Commonwealth swimming champion, Francesca Halsall, received a timely boost ahead of the World Aquatics Championship in Shanghai this month (16-31 July), with the signing of a new sponsorship deal with sports nutrition company, Multipower.
The deal will see Halsall using a range of Multipower bars, gels, drinks and powders, as she works towards Olympic glory - and a potential five medal haul - at the 2012 Games in London. Multipower's UK marketing manager, Steve Kessell said: "It is an exciting time for Fran, as she builds towards London 2012 and we look forward to working closely with her, to ensure she has the necessary sports nutrition to help prepare for, compete in and recover from racing.
"With a training regime based around 60km of pool lengths per week, her nutritional needs are considerable and our Sportsfood team looks forward to working with Fran and her coaches to tailor her sports nutrition diet to maximum effect. "We wish Fran the best of luck for the World Championships in Shanghai."
