Luxury spa resort opens in Portugese mountains

A new spa hotel called Aquafalls has launched in northern Portugal.
Located north of the Portwine capital of Oporto and boasting views over the Natural Park of Peneda-Gerês and Caniçada lake, the property features a waterfall and has been designed to blend into the landscape.
The hotel’s main building includes a bar and restaurant while the Aquafalls Spa by Sisley covers an area of 12,916sq ft (1,200sq m).
Facilities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an ice fountain, two couples’ suites and four single rooms. Details: aquafalls.pt
