Lottery cash for London's Fryent Country Park
Mason's Field, a former London Transport staff sports ground at Fryent Country Park in Brent, North London, is to be restored with the help of National Lottery funding.
Brent Council's parks service has secured £47,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund, which will go towards improving the area. Plans include a new bridge walkway to boost access. Work is due to commence in late summer in partnership with Barnhill Conservation Group and will also include the restoration of a meadow and the creation of a new training course.
