Jordan hotel blasts kill 60
Around 60 people were killed and more than 300 others injured after explosions at three five-star hotels in Amman, the capital of Jordan on 9 November.
Local authorities attributed the near-simultanious blasts at the city’s Grand Hyatt, Days Inn and Radisson SAS hotels to suicide bombers.
All three hotels are located in the the city’s commercial district and are popular among western businessmen and diplomats.
According to reports, two of the attacks were carried out by bombers who had entered the buildings with explosives strapped to their bodies. It is believed the third was a car bomb.
