Improvements for Beacons Way walking route
Brecon Beacons National Park Authority (BBNPA) has announced the completion of work to improve the Beacons Way walking route.
Welsh Assembly Government and Countryside Council for Wales funding has allowed the authority to combat erosion problems and enhance accessibility to the footpath. Three sections of the Beacons Way underwent improvements: at Craig y Fan Ddu; between Llyn y Fan Fawr and Fan Brycheiniog; and a stretch of path in Carmarthenshire.
BBNPA access officer Richard Ball said: "The three footpath sections that we've improved along the Beacons Way are strategically very important and will have a significant impact on the walkers who use this route regularly."
