Hilton has opened its second hotel in Prague, Czech Republic.
The former Prague Renaissance – renamed Hilton Prague Old Town – has undergone a complete transformation overseen by interior designer Alexandra Champalimaud.
All 305 guest rooms have been revamped, while a further 15 suites, a new health club and gym, sauna and indoor swimming pool have been added.
Wolfgang Neumann, president of Hilton Hotels – Europe, said: “The Hilton Prague Old Town marks a significant step in our commitment to enhancing and developing Hilton’s presence in Eastern Europe.
The ground floor features a new reception and lobby area, an expanded ballroom and a new Maze-branded restaurant operated by chef Gordon Ramsay with head chef Philip Carmichael. The venue – designed by David Collins – seats 138 guests and includes a cocktail bar.
“The expansion will be well received by the business and leisure market.”
Jeffrey Diskin, senior vice president of brand management – Hilton Hotels, added: “Maze demonstrates Hilton’s commitment to providing unique experiences for visitors to our hotels – whether they’re staying with us or just looking for a good meal.”
