GetFIT is set to open its sixth club in Milan, Italy, this October.
Owned and operated by Livio Leardi, the latest GetFIT has cost e3m (£2m) to build and fit out. Spanning 2,500sq m (26,900sq ft) in total, the club features a gym, studios, spa, pool and restaurant. The main fitness supplier is Technogym.
The club was designed by Studio Scaglia and funded through company turnover, debt capital and pre-sales, the latter aiming to raise 15–20 per cent of the investment prior to opening.
It has 2,500 members signed up so far and aims to reach 3,500 in its first year of operations.
Work is also underway on a new GetFIT club in Gallarate in Lombardy.
