GPACT celebrates first year anniversary
The Global Professional Association for Colon Therapists (GPACT) organisation is to celebrate its inaugural year in February 2010.
Offering representation for professionals in five countries including South Africa, the organisation's mission is to create continuity around the world in the highest possible standards in training, practice standards, quality in education, quality of service and professional methods.
Other areas of interest include patient/client/therapist safety and good hygeine practice.
A GPACT spokesperson said: "We are keenly aware that there are still in existence therapists around the world who are not working with the hygeine practices that clients would expect in order to protect their health and safety. GPACT members must comply with our regulations to keep the practice of colon irrigation safe and available." Details: gpact.org
