Six sporting venues managed by London-based leisure trust Greenwich Leisure (GLL) have been selected as pre-games training camps for the 2012 Paralympic Games.
The facilities – Clissold Leisure Centre in Hackney, Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, Mile End Park Leisure Centre & Stadium in Tower Hamlets, Newham Leisure Centre, Sutton Arena Leisure Centre and Waltham Forest Track & Pool – have been selected for disciplines including Paralympic athletics, judo, wheelchair basketball and fencing.
Thirteen GLL-managed sites have already been accredited as pre-games training camps for the Olympic Games.
