Interactive family attractions specialist Innovative Leisure has completed the installation of a new major high ropes adventure course at the Santa Marina Retreat in Limassol, Cyprus.

The five pole, double level SkyTrail Navigator high ropes course adds a totally new dimension to the outdoor retreat/family park venue and joins a variety of other family attractions and facilities on the site. These include a race horse stud farm, golf driving range, archery, a high end climbing wall, pony trekking, kids play area, a farm park style petting area and a restaurant offering diners views over the surrounding area towards Limassol.

The ropes course supplied by Innovative Leisure features 14 different, challenging elements and caters for a maximum of 20 participants at any one time. At 10m (33ft) in height, the attraction appeals to both younger and older children, along with their parents, and was specifically chosen to provide the venue with a headline attraction that would help it to attract more families and generally give added appeal to the whole site.

And while the second level is more testing than the first, this allows younger guests to build their confidence - where required - before moving up to the more challenging, higher section. The unique track system that allows users to overtake slower, maybe less confident participants, also helps to ensure an enjoyable experience.

The venue is aimed at the local family and corporate markets in the first instance, as a 'get away from it all' opportunity. As the first attraction of its type in Cyprus, the new ropes course is being marketed primarily to local families, particularly for weekends and birthday parties, along with other groups such as the corporate market for team building and other events.

It is also being promoted to holiday makers and tour operators, again as a family attraction that can be enjoyed together.
