Finalists announced for National Lottery Awards
The finalists have been announced for the annual National Lottery awards which recognise the positive impact lottery-funded projects have across the country.
The 21 finalists have been grouped in seven categories, which include sport, arts, health and heritage.
The finalists include:
Sport
Wheels for Wellbeing, a charity that promotes disability cyclingBack to Netball, an initiative encouraging women to take up the sport
Longridge Activity Centre, an outdoor activity centre in Marlow
ArtsBaltic Centre for Contemporary Art, an international gallery in Gateshead
Health
Bogside & Brandywell Health Forum, a healthy living centre based in Northern IrelandBe Healthy programme, which trains young people to understand how to have a healthy lifestyle.
Heritage
Durlston Castle, which was restored using Lottery funding
The winning project, which will be decided by public vote will be announced during a BBC One Show later in the year.
