EHFA launches leadership programme
European Health and Fitness Association (EHFA) is to host its first executive leadership programme in Barcelona this summer.
Taking place between 6 and 10 June – at the IESE Business School – the interactive and intensive one-week programme has been specifically designed to help health and fitness professionals sharpen their leadership skills and broaden their vision of the sector.
The programme will be operated under the EHFA University banner and will see a group of 35 international industry leaders experience learning through a number of interactive, dynamic learning methods, including case studies, discussions, simulations, presentations and small group activities.
The learning modules include what the EHFA calls an "execugame", a motivational activity in which teams compete in a virtual market place and solve real management dilemmas.
Herman Rutgers, executive director EHFA said: "The EHFA University is more than an opportunity for the industry leaders to advance their skills. Ultimately it is about elevating the fitness sector as a whole to the next level.
“One of the main objectives of EHFA is to promote the interests of the industry to various stakeholders on a European level and having strong leaders will help the sector gain a stronger voice".
