Dundee Flower and Food Festival 2007
Scotland's premier flower and food festival promises a line-up of entertainment and celebrities that's bigger and better than ever!
The Dundee Flower & Food Festival at Camperdown Park from 31st Aug – 2nd Sept, attracts visitors young and old, offering an amazing programme of events, children's activities, live music, stunning floral art and gardening displays, inspiring cookery demonstrations, special whisky tasting sessions, a craft fair and traders selling top quality produce from all over the country.
The 2007 Food Festival celebrity line-up includes television chef, the housewives' favourite, James Martin, and local lad Jeremy Lee, a contender in the current series of BBC's Great British Menu. Watch them in action, along with other top chefs from the region, as they create a variety of dishes that will definitely whet your appetite!
This year's horticultural expertise is provided by BBC Gardeners' World presenter Carol Klein and Beechgrove Potting Shed's Frieda Morrison. Carol will be on walkabout throughout the Show ground and giving advice in 'question & answer' sessions, while Frieda will be recording a special edition of the Potting Shed from the Show. Martin Fish and the popular Bayer Garden Roadshow team return this year to help diagnose and treat all of your horticultural headaches!
The Dundee Flower & Food Festival is arguably the region's top lifestyle event, which truly offers something for everyone.
