Gateshead College on the Gateshead Quayside in Sunderland, UK, is to gain additional spa and beauty facilities as part of a widescale £37m (54.7m euro, US$74.5m) development of its new Baltic Campus.
Dalesauna has collaborated with the college on the planning and design of the Baltic Spa, which is scheduled to open in January next year, and will act as both a training site as well as operating as a commercial venture.
Amenities will include a sauna, steamroom, monsoon shower, ice feature, spa pool and a dry flotation bed.
