Scottish group Crerar Hotels has acquired Chevin Country Park Hotel in Otley, West Yorkshire, for £5.5m.
The three-star country hotel comprises 49 bedrooms, a galleried restaurant and a bar, conference and function rooms and a leisure club.
Crerar is planning to build 21 new woodland lodges, a self-contained lakeside function suite and a health spa as well as extensions to the existing restaurant and bar.
The property is the seventh in the Crerar portfolio, and the first out with Scotland. Details: www.crerarhotels.com
