Council unveils Shropshire Hills tourism plan
Shropshire Council has announced the public launch of a new sustainable tourism strategy and action plan for the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
The document, which also encompasses nearby towns such as Ludlow, covers the remit of the Shropshire Hills and Ludlow Destination Development Partnership. Other towns and villages incorporated into the new strategy include Church Stretton; Much Wenlock; and Craven Arms and aims to develop tourism opportunities.
The Tourism Company produced the new document following four months of consultation with local businesses. A public consultation has now been launched until 9 September.
