Concept 2 supplies equipment to regional academy

Four colleges in the south west, at Truro, Exeter, Barnstaple and Ivybridge have received Concept 2 Dyno machines as part of the establishment of a regional rugby union academy.
The South West Regional Academy (SWERA) is based at the four centres, which have each received one of the strength training machines. The Dyno can be used for assessing both pushing and pulling strength, in the upper and lower body.
The machine uses a flywheel rather than a conventional weight stack, so more power from the user creates more resistance, making the machine flexible for users of different strengths.
