CSI completes Portsmouth FC takeover
Convers Sports Initiative (CSI) has completed the acquisition of Portsmouth Football Club (PFC) from Sports Holdings (Asia), following 'several months' of talks.
The npower Championship club has confirmed that CSI owners Vladimir Antonov, Roman Dubov and Chris Akers have all passed the Football League's Fit and Proper Persons test. PFC chief executive David Lampitt said: "It has been a complex process, which has been conducted very professionally throughout.
"The rebuilding of the club is a long-term project and, in CSI, I believe we have found owners who will take the long-term view that is required." CSI's other interests include the Spyker Squadron motorsport team and promoter North One Sport.
