Training provider Fitness Wales has appointed Melanie Bowkett to the role of promotions manager.
Bowkett has eight years’ experience in the fitness industry as a freelance instructor, in addition to roles as a course director and assessor.
She has spent the last three years working at Fitness Wales as a course co-ordinator.
Fitness Wales offers fitness instruction courses, as well as insurance and a membership advisory service.
In her new role, Bowkett will be responsible for developing the organisation’s Spring Spectacular, the annual event staging the latest fitness programmes.
She will also be responsible for the Welsh Fitness Instructor of the Year award.
