Bollywood comes to Esporta Leeds

Esporta Leeds is spicing up its programme this summer by introducing a Bollywood dance class.
Set to music from the Bollywood movies, the routines combine traditional Indian dance with modern Bollywood moves.
The new classes aim to raise awareness of Indian dance culture while providing a fun way to get in shape.
The instructor is dance artist Zoobin Surty, who studied Indian classical and folk dancing in Mumbai. His expertise then took him around the world, including choreographing and directing productions for MTV and TV Asia.
Rachel Torr, manager at Esporta Leeds, said: “The Bollywood dance classes have a been a huge success from day one.
“Zoobin came along to one of our monthly new member evenings and he proved so popular that he's now a regular fixture at Esporta Leeds.
“It's very much a case of responding to what our members want and what they enjoy. As long as our members keep enjoying the facilities and classes here at Esporta, we will continue to find new and innovative ways to help them to stay fit and healthy.”
