BMF launches Walkfit classes in London
British Military Fitness (BMF), the outdoor fitness training provider, has launched new Walkfit classes at eight venues across London.
Led by qualified instructors, the new classes have been designed for people of all ages and abilities and aim to help increase heart rate, enhance mobility and use a range of muscles. Walkfit classes last one hour and incorporate a range of activities to ensure users work at the appropriate level. Battersea, Dulwich, Peckham and Cheam are among the sites to offer the classes.
BMF venues at Wandsworth, Bushy Park, Hyde Park and Finsbury are also included in the eight initial locations, with plans to expand the provision across the UK in early 2011. Major Robin Cope, managing director of BMF, said: "Our classes will ensure that the members are with like-minded people and will be encouraged to chat and socialise while they exercise.
"We've made the classes for everyone, so even if you're returning to exercise after children, injury or illness, the low intensity class is perfect for you."
