WLCT appoints new interim chief executive

Stuart Murray will take over as interim chief executive in April
Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust (WLCT) has announced that Stuart Murray is to take over as interim chief executive next month for an 18-month period.
Murray - who will succeed long-standing incumbent Rodney Hill -joined the trust in 2004 and will be tasked with seeing WLCT through a period of "considerable change". "It's quite clear that the Trust will have to change and work in new ways. I want to retain as many of the valued community facilities as possible while having to meet the financial challenges ahead," he said.
Hill will officially step down as WLCT chief executive on 31 March.
