Shortlist announced for health club awards
The shortlist for the first ever Members' Choice Health Club Awards has been announced.
The awards, which will award winners in 14 categories, have been designed to help health clubs promote themselves locally.
They are the first consumer awards in the industry that recognise excellence in customer service by asking members to vote for their clubs.
Simon Brown, who runs the competition, said: "The Members' Choice Health Club Awards aim to find out which clubs are providing the most rewarding experience by asking members to rate their club.
"There's no judging panel, no submission to write, no telephone interview - just the thoughts of members across the UK on how good their own club is."
The winners will be announced on 21 September during the Leisure Industry Week in Birmingham. The shortlisted clubs include both privately and publicly-owned clubs. For the full list of shortlisted clubs, click here for the July issue of Health Club Management pp.74-75.
