Remedy Place launches Meridian, a personalised assessment programme
Remedy Place – operator of a growing collection of social wellness clubs in the US – has launched a personalised health assessment programme, offering a tailored roadmap for optimal health and wellbeing.
Filling a critical gap in the healthcare system, Meridian begins with a detailed questionnaire and evolves into a comprehensive profile of up to 600 biomarkers, delivering quantifiable data on client’s mental and physical health, followed by a personalised, actionable plan.
The tests include a quarterly bloodwork panel that identifies the body’s nutrient strengths and deficiencies. These insights inform the manufacture of a customised daily supplement – made in Switzerland – that is uniquely tailored to the individuals’ needs and engineered for the most effective absorption.
This is backed up by precision mapping: a digital screening assessment that captures data on the body’s range of motion, composition, balance, mobility and cognition.
VO2 max testing gives a detailed analysis of how the body uses oxygen, identifying valuable insights about physical strengths and limitations and empowering consumers to increase their capacity for physical exertion.
The resting metabolic rate (RMR) testing assessment identifies the body’s calorie-burning abilities and helps participants understand how to achieve their desired body composition.
“Meridian by Remedy Place’s goal is to teach guests more about their heath state, give them the exact plan on how to take care of themselves, while giving them all the experiences and tools to do so,” said Dr Jonathan Leary, CEO and founder of Remedy Place.
“We are committed to driving this industry forward by leading with the most data driven programming to ensure we are compiling and providing evidence-based results and demonstrating the measurable impact of proactive self-care routines and modalities.”
Meridian is available with priority access to Remedy Place members, and soon after to non-members on an à la carte basis.
There are now four Remedy Place clubs with the largest to date opening in Boston earlier this year. The first site opened in LA just before the pandemic. There are plans for international expansion.
