A gym at the JCB World Headquarters in Staffordshire has reopened to employees after the facility benefited from an extensive revamp undertaken in partnership with Life Fitness.

The Healthy Living Centre, which first opened 15 years ago, has been modernised as part of the scheme and now boasts a 45-station fitness suite offering cv and strength equipment.

JCB World's new-look gym also features Life Fitness' Virtual Trainer technology to assist in rehabilitation and physiotherapy, allowing staff to track their exercise progress.

Other services at the Healthy Living Centre include a spinning room, physiotherapy and a dentist. JCB employees can take advantage of the venue with reduced membership rates.

JCB Health Living Centre manager Dean Stanley said: "Both Life Fitness and JCB share a similar company ethos and both are pioneers in product innovation within their separate fields.

Life Fitness sales executive Blake Fletcher added: "The JCB Healthy Living Centre has a wide user demographic, so we wanted to ensure that we catered for all their needs as well as entice new JCB employee members."
