Primal dream made into reality as LA Fitness selects Physical
LA Fitness has contracted Physical Company to create and equip ‘Primal Series’ gym floor classes and refresh its group fitness offering.
As part of the two-year deal, the health club operator invested £250,000 for the initial supply of equipment and Primal Series programming. Further investment, bringing the total to more than £300,000, is ongoing to refresh the group fitness kit offering.
The five 30-minute Primal Series classes combine high intensity small group sessions with Physical Company functional training equipment, including kettlebells, slam balls, Powerbags, Grid foam rollers, BOSU, medicine balls, ladders, dumbbells, Surge and SandRopes. The concept originated with LA Fitness but was developed by Physical Company trainers.
Classes launched in October 2014 at selected LA Fitness clubs in London, and were rolled out over a two month period across all 44 of the operator’s clubs. New releases are issued every six to eight weeks in a bid to keep the classes challenging and interesting.
This shift in focus has brought our expertise to the fore; we specialise in everything today’s fitness spaces should be built around, from flooring to functional equipment and programming, rigs to combat, studio accessories to wellness solutions to complementary innovations from best-in-class manufacturers: Merrithew’s Pilates reformers, Ecore Athletic performance flooring, Reaxing’s neuromuscular training range.
We let each unique space dictate its needs, then create exceptional training opportunities.
This is why our mission statement is ‘First for Fitness Solutions’ – because we should be your first phone call. However large or small your fitness space, we’ll work with you from concept to installation and beyond to ensure it exceeds expectations.
It’s time to think differently. It’s time to turn to Physical Company first for your fitness solutions.
