Working closely with the BLK BOX team, Andrew and Josh were involved in every stage of the process – from concept and layout planning to visiting the BLK BOX production line in Belfast to see their custom pieces in progress. Their focus was on creating a premium, high-performance space that reflected their shared values of quality, expertise, and attention to detail.
From Office to High-Performance Facility
What was once a standard office building has been completely transformed into a sleek, high-spec training environment. With natural light flooding the space and a clean, minimalist layout, Three State combines aesthetic design with practical functionality.
Every detail was considered to make the most of the available space – from integrated storage solutions that keep the floor clear, to flooring and finishes chosen for both performance and style. The result is a bright, open gym that delivers a professional training experience for athletes and everyday members alike.
Collaboration from the Ground Up
For Three State, collaboration was key. The BLK BOX team supported the project from initial consultation through to final installation, ensuring every element was built to perform.
“The care BLK BOX has shown us throughout the process really stands out,” says Porter. “It just goes to show how much they care about the client. That’s something we want to reflect in our own space too.”

When Aberdeen Sports Village set out to upgrade its gym offering, the goal was to create a
