£1.5m Lottery boost for Welsh festivals
Festivals across Wales will receive a share of more than £1.5m of National Lottery funding from the Arts Council of Wales (ACW) in a bid to showcase cultural and creative talent.
A number of events are in line to benefit, with the Hay Festival of Literature and the Arts in Hay-on-Wye and Hijinx Theatre's Unity festival netting a £100,000 grant each.
Presteigne Festival of Music and the Arts in Powys secured £100,000 in a three-year award, while Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod has picked up £92,000.
