Work has begun on a new spa complex in the Bulgarian town of Varshets.
According to news.bg, the development will be called Spa Resort Park and built on a 53,820sq ft (5,000sq m) area.
The complex will include a hotel, a spa centre covering 16,146sq ft (1,500sq m), and a business centre alongside dental and medical facilities.
According to the website, Varshets was chosen as the site for the spa centre due to the unique qualities of its mineral water. Varshets was first formed as a balneological tourism centre at the beginning of the 20th Century.
