Wirral Council renews Tranmere Rovers deal

Members of Wirral Council's cabinet have voted to renew a sponsorship agreement worth up to £126,000 a year with Tranmere Rovers Football Club (TRFC).
The deal will see the npower League One club work alongside the local authority on a wide range of community programmes, particularly initiatives involving young people. Wirral Council leader Steve Foulkes said: "This deal demonstrates our commitment to working with the club to help develop those community links further."
The renewed deal will come into effect from 1 July.
