Universal’s Volcano Bay unveils new wearables to transform the guest experience

Universal's Volcano Bay park has unveiled its Tapu Tapu wearables, designed to enhance the visitor experience
Universal Orlando Resort’s new water park, Volcano Bay, will provide guests with its new Tapu Tapu wearables.
Visitors will be issued with the Tapu Tapu wearable as they enter the park. Designed to provide a hassle-free experience the devices feature a Virtual Line application, that allows guests to virtually wait in line for attractions.
Guests simply tap their devices to totems located at attraction entrances to receive a return time, they can then enjoy other attractions and experiences at the resort while they wait. The interactive wearable also allows visitors to explore TapTu Play experiences located throughout the park, which enables guests to control streams of water in the Tot Tiki Reef, shoot water cannon by the Kopiko Wai Winding River and illuminate secret images in the volcano’s hidden caves.
The Tapu Tapu wearables are designed to enhance the guest experience, so that visitors get the most out of their time in the park.
