A £500,000 health and fitness club called Uniq Fitness Club is to open at Harrow’s Northwick Park six-hole golf course on 7 July.
The 5,000sq ft (465sq m) site will be operated by Energy Fitness Professionals (EFP) in conjunction with the golf course owners Playgolf.
Facilities will include a fitness suite – supplied by Physique Fitness – plus a studio and a treatment room.
Uniq Fitness will offer a number of specific, golf-related exercise programmes and one-to-one coaching for those who want to improve their golfing skills.
There will also be a ‘virtual trainer’ facility, enabling fitness instructors to record a member’s personal training exercises and allowing members to access this at any time.
EFP intend to hit a membership target of around 1,000 people with their club – which has been designed by Zynk Design Consultants. Details: www.uniq-fitness.co.uk
