Two bidders for Great Yarmouth casino licence

Great Yarmouth Borough Council (GYBC) has confirmed that it has received two bids for a large casino licence, following the conclusion of the first stage of the application process.
Palatial Leisure and Pleasure and Leisure Property Corporation are the confirmed applicants and will now be assessed as part of a regulatory licensing process. A GYBC spokesperson said: "If both applications are granted, stage two of the process is set to begin in August. At this stage, each applicant will outline the benefits their casino will bring."
