Triotech creates ‘Sholay’ dark ride for Bollywood Parks Dubai

Canadian dark ride maker Triotech has announced it’s building an interactive experience for the upcoming Bollywood park at Dubai Parks and Resorts, which opens this October.
The ride, which features Triotech’s Lightgun technology, is based on Sholay, a 1975 Hindi-language adventure film and classic of the genre. Bollywood Park Dubai is billed as the first theme park in the world devoted to India’s popular cultural phenomenon. The multi-sensory adventure will feature cutting-edge graphics and special effects, though the ride cost has not been revealed.
“It’s an honour for our company to have been selected for this project at Bollywood Parks Dubai, a part of the largest multi-themed leisure and entertainment destination in the Middle East,” said Triotech CEO Ernest Yale.
